Action Upon Receiving a Takedown Notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, ZEpub.Pub will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the user who uploaded the material (if applicable) of the removal and provide them with a copy of the takedown notice.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated copyright agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its location on ZEpub.Pub before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district where ZEpub.Pub is located) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original takedown notice.

If a valid counter-notification is received, ZEpub.Pub may restore the removed material after 10 business days but no later than 14 business days, unless the original complainant notifies us of legal action to restrain the alleged infringer.

Repeat Infringers

ZEpub.Pub reserves the right to terminate access to our platform for users who are repeat infringers of copyrighted material, in accordance with our policies and applicable law.

Misrepresentations

Submitting a false DMCA takedown notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability. ZEpub.Pub encourages all parties to ensure the accuracy of their claims before submission.
